Creative market read
The audit we promised, written as a plan: the 4 ads live on your page on 21 September, 1,835 of your reviews, four brands that sell gentle skin care on Meta, five angles, and a road to Black Friday.
A short note before you scroll.
The five things we said this read would cover
01Every ad you have live, read and sorted by what it argues01Your format and ratio split, and which ones you're not running02 and 03The angles your competitors run that you don't07What's built to carry a Black Friday offer, and what isn't07The three things we'd make first, and why those three01 · What's live today
Your 4 live ads on 21 September, sorted by what each one argues. The three videos have run since 11 and 12 May, and the listicle puts the Cooler Roll first, a story your page was already running ads on in 2021.

All 4 ads carry the same caption, “Sensitive skin deserves the best care”, and the three videos all land on one collection page.
The catalogue ad is the only picture ad, and Meta builds it from your product feed. Feed and Stories get a vertical video; there's no static made for the feed yet.
02 · The bigger brands
We read the captions and landing pages of 103 Dermavitality, 23 Gladskin and 14 Earth Mama made ads (catalogue ads left out), plus the pictures we could download, and 28 of Vanicream's, the gentle-skin mainstream your caption sits in today. Alra, CamWell, Miaderm and NeoGenesis, the other oncology-skincare brands we checked, had no live ads on 21 September.
The biggest oncology-skincare advertiser we found, with 125 live ads when we pulled them on 21 September. Built around an oncology nurse, and it speaks to the patient and to the friend buying a gift.

Dermatologist-backed skin care for reactive skin. It sells what it leaves out, and puts customer reviews inside the picture.

A different category with the same worry: is this safe? Its answer is a pediatrician, on camera.

03 · What holds across them
Two of these show up at more than one brand. Two are one brand, Dermavitality, running them across many ads, and we say so under each. All come from ads that were still running. Running tells you an ad survived, not that it won.
What we saw
Dermavitality runs this on 21 of the 103 made ads we read, in 10 versions, and was still launching new ones in September. One brand, so read it as proof it runs on Meta, not a category rule.
Why it works
It hands a friend who feels helpless one clear thing to do. And it talks about someone else's treatment, never the viewer's.
For Lindi
Your reviews carry this buyer again and again (section 04). Some of theirs tell the giver to skip the flowers; yours can start from the customer who got Lindi as a gift, then bought it for a woman she met at treatment.

What we saw
Dermavitality has 32 of 103 made ads in the first person, often with her treatment count as the credential. Earth Mama puts a parent in front of the camera too.
Why it works
People trust someone a few steps ahead on the same road. Some of Dermavitality's versions open on the viewer's symptoms; Lindi's would stay with her story.
For Lindi
Lindi's presenter ad already opens in the first person. Reviewers going back to 2011 are the next voices.

What we saw
The word nurse runs through 61 of Dermavitality's 103 made ads, and one static quotes its nurse founder: “I created the products I wished my patients had.” Earth Mama puts a pediatrician on camera in 2 of 14. Vanicream prints a dermatologist line in the picture in 2 of 28.
Why it works
It moves the safety question away from the brand and onto someone whose job is patient safety.
For Lindi
Lindi was built with a team of oncologists, dermatologists and skincare experts, and the listicle says “doctor trusted”. Nobody from that team is on camera in your live ads.

What we saw
Dermavitality splits its landing pages by zone across its 103 made ads: scalp 14, hands and feet 15, radiation 15, chemo body 17. One brand, at scale.
Why it works
When the ad names the exact symptom, the viewer feels understood. A named kit turns five decisions into one.
For Lindi
Your ads name the Cooler Roll and the Soothing Balm, then all three land on one collection page. Each could land on the product it names. We judged where the ads land, not how that page converts.

04 · The opening
of the reviews we read describe buying Lindi for someone else, or getting it as a gift. It isn't only history: it shows up in this year's reviews too.
Your store already sells to this buyer, with five gift collections, the Fight Back Pack and gift wrapping. Your ads don't speak to them yet: none of the 3 ads you made is aimed at the person buying for someone.
Dermavitality speaks to this buyer on 21 of the 103 made ads we read. In your reviews, gifts come up most in January, right after the holidays.
What we can't see from outside: your email, Amazon, and whether an ad for gift buyers was ever tried. If one was, we'd like to hear how it went.
Your About page says Lindi started with Lindy watching friends go through cancer treatment. That's a giver's story too.

“I felt she was going through enough that I could not change, so I thought about a lotion. … she told me she slept through the night for the first time in a very long time.”
a Lindi customer who bought the Body Lotion for a friend
“A friend of mine gave me this when she found out I had cancer.”
a Lindi customer, on the Fight Back Pack
“It was so special to get a gift-wrapped delivery, especially going through radiation.”

05 · Five angles
Each one adds to what's already running and points at the product it names. None of them replaces what you have live. Every line speaks as a customer, a friend, or Lindi's doctors, never about the viewer's own health.
The giver who has been there, in a customer's own words. Static, 4:5, to the Fight Back Pack.
Sample hook
“A friend of mine gave me this when she found out I had cancer.”
What the creative shows
The review as the picture, beside the open Fight Back Pack and a handwritten tag.
One zone, one kit, the page that sells that kit. Video, 9:16, to the Radiation Skincare Gift Collection.
Sample hook
“…pulled the burn from the inside out”
What the creative shows
Hands unrolling the Cooler Roll on a bathroom counter, then the Soothing Balm and the gift box closing. Healthy-looking skin only.
Gentle, with an oncology reason behind it. Static, 4:5, to the bestsellers.
Sample hook
“Is this SAFE for someone undergoing chemo / radiation?” The question Lindi's team of oncologists, dermatologists and skincare experts asked of every ingredient.
What the creative shows
The question on the page, the five bestsellers below. No clinical claim goes in the ad. It works as a static, so nobody has to be on camera.
The small thing a friend can do. Video, 9:16, room sound only, to the Body Lotion.
Sample hook
“I felt she was going through enough that I could not change, so I thought about a lotion.”
What the creative shows
Two friends on a couch at night, one smoothing lotion onto the other's hands. It ends on the review: “she told me she slept through the night for the first time in a very long time.”
A reason to buy that isn't another code. Static, 4:5, to your gift sets.
Sample hook
“It was so special to get a gift-wrapped delivery, especially going through radiation.”
What the creative shows
The white box and blue ribbon you already sell, lid half open on a gift set, with free gift wrap on every set through Cyber Monday as the offer.
06 · Made for Lindi
Built from the angles above.

07 · The road to Black Friday
Now to Oct 15
The radiation burn ad and the doctors' list go live next to your videos, each on its own product page. The signal: cost per add to cart, against your current videos.
A2A3From mid-October
Gifts get chosen before they get bought. The friend's review and the couch film start early, so the giver already knows Lindi by November. The giver angle runs as both a static and a vertical video, so the format isn't mistaken for the angle. The signal: cost per add to cart and per purchase.
A1A4Nov 23 to Nov 30
Gift sets carry the offer. We'd run the wrapped set against a code ad in the same week and keep whichever brings cheaper orders.
A5None of your 4 live ads carries an offer, a gift set or a gift message today, and all three videos land on a grid of 12 products where the Fight Back Pack is the only gift item; none of your five gift collections is on it. The gift sets and the wrap already exist on the site; the ads just don't point at them yet.
A2, then A1, then A3. A2 is the fastest: the product exists, your page was running ads on it in 2021, and a customer already wrote the line. A1 is the season's buyer. A3 gives both of them the doctors' reason.
Between 16 October and 15 December 2025, your Instagram announced 7 different codes, with 33% off on Black Friday. When a new code shows up most weeks, a list may start waiting for the next one. And we'd guess the person buying a gift cares most about whether it arrives looking like one. You already sell the white box and the ribbon. Whether last year's 33% was your best week, only your numbers can say.
